My last post (the one I had just posted) was my 1969th post, which is important because I was born that year. However, I wanted this post to be my 1969th post, but instead it will be my 1970th post.

I even thought of deleting my last post, so that this would be number 1969. In fact I am still thinking of doing that. However, I have decided not to give in to my obsessiveness. But it really has ruined the end of a nice day. :(

even if you did that, this post would be 1969 only until your next post. it seems like a waste of time to me

I'm reading your post now and your post count says 1972.

Uh, yeah, I know the numbers go up no matter what. That's not the point - literally. It's like trying to calculate the intersecting point of two moving objects and being slightly off. Very bothersome.

that is incorrect. the post count will not increase after your final post.

No, I didn't say that was going to be my final post. I wanted that post to be number 1969: an intersection between x: the number of my post, and y: my being able to acknowledge that number as the start of a new thread. It was about a fixed point in time attached to an event, by which I was off by "1."

It's a number and time obsession. I really like numbers and time fascinated me.

1974, the year my baby sitter was born who always baby sat me which turned out she stole from my parents and my mom didn't find out until right when we were moving out of our house because she came over wearing one of my mom's shirts and my cousin's pants she stole and she denied she took them and claimed they were in the bag of stuff my mother gave her. Then a box of my baby clothes mom was saving was missing and my mom could never find it when we moved into our new house until she happened to run into the parents at a open house and the mother said to my mom "The box of baby clothes you gave her came in handy because she had a girl" and my mom just looked at her and thought "Oh, that's where they went." She didn't tell them she never gave their daughter those clothes and she had took it because she didn't see the point in it, It had happened a few years ago so no point in telling them now. Oh yeah she wanted to come up to our new house and baby sit and my parents wouldn't let her and we were too far away anyway from her even though it was the same area we lived in but different states.

(In case anyone is confused, 1974 was the number of posts the OP had when I read this thread and clicked the reply button)

Oh 1976, that was the year one of my online friends was born and when one of the aids in my high school was born.

(that was the number of posts the OP had as I write this post, the 1900 numbers and 2000 numbers before 2015 give me connections to years and events and when and whoever was born that year)

Will have to keep this in mind for my 2000th post.
My birth date will take place on a milestone aha.
Will put a screenshot of it in the post to preserve it.
