My special interest of inboard boat propulsion hit a dead end. Each and every time I continue research it ends with a frustrated meltdown. Does this happen to you?

Hello, while I know nothing about boat propulsion I do know that my special interests never end. My biggest special interests are toilets, playgrounds, school, and music. Toilets there is no end for because I can always look up pictures online of new toilets and read the articles that go along with the pictures since new things happen in restrooms every day. My love for playgrounds never ends because I can also look up playgrounds at several companies. I also built my own playground out of popcicle sticks. I believe there are 18 pieces of equipment. But this thing is really intricate. I mean there's a small fish and turtle (toys) in the pond, an ice cream cone for the snack shop/playhouse/sport stat box, 2 football helmets, and even a mini shovel/pale for the sandbox. Oh and I forgot to mention it's on a giant platform painted to look like a park with hopscotch and a basketball court. Now all it needs is a popcicle stick restroom with working toielts since everything else really works, and a park bench. lol But seriously, I just keep building pieces every time I think of something new. My special interest of school will never die down because I am in college to become a teacher and as for music I can always listen to that whenever I want. But take my suggestion. Try and build your own model. Don't rush it though. Just do it piece by piece and make it a hobby.

Its not that it stops, I have run out of information on the subject of small air-cooled inboard boats. The information has been lost to time. If I was alive in 1940 I could easily find information. Most of the things I am interested are pre-1950.

I get the same problem. Right now my interest in optics is at a dead end. Right now I'm focusing more on my other interests. Since I always have multiple interests I am rarely "interest-less."

I have multiple interests at the moment, but one of them, my obsession over the Disney movie Frozen, is reaching a frustrating dead end because the amount of information available for research is highly limited. It'll be ages before they come out with a Frozen 2, if they ever do, so for the time being I'm recycling my research, re-studying things I already know and replaying all the clips and songs in different languages on youtube.

My son used to be obsessed with Pokemon , he would list and list and list all of the Pokemon. Then draw them all out and read in his Pokemon encyclopedia all about the Pokemon and what they can do. Then it switched to mind craft, now it's animals. He has a book that tells you all about different animals and what they can do and their weight and etc.

Nice :) I've only seen it four times so far, but that's going to change as soon as it comes out on DVD on the 18th this month!
