By this, I mean balancing all your roles in life.

For example: I am a mother of 2, an employee in administration at a LTC home, a spouse, a daughter, a granddaughter, and a friend (to one person, grant you); most of all I'm a human being and a person with needs of my own.

My children and my job are my highest priorities. I function very highly in those areas in terms of ensuring all necessary tasks are handed. My kids are extremely well taken care of.

However, I struggle with making sure I take care of myself, that I see my family (mother and grandparents), that I care for my relationship, that I contact my friend to see how she's doing, an etc...

I struggle day to day at work to control my thoughts and behaviours, that by the end of the day I'm exhausted. I get home and take care of my kids and by 7pm I'm wiped....

I also suffer with fibromyalgia as well, and ongoing chronic migrains (I swear there's a tumor in there but they haven't done a ct scan because they wanted to try iron which isn't working).

How do you balance your roles?

CT scans aren't indicated in migraine. you don't need the expense or the radiation exposure.

I am a teenager and I struggle to juggle all of my two or one roles.
Without a parent or support I would probably succumb to a disease or malnutrition as I am bad at feeding myself.
Schedules help. Lots.
