Not as in remember X celebration but I like having items to then jog my memory on the event. I still have a glass and napkin and little bag from my sisters wedding that was about 11 years ago. I am turning 28 the end of the month and I have Birthday cards going back to 16 or 15 or so. I like reading the messages from loving family. Also I LOVE songs and the whole MP3 idea since that "One song" you hear on the radio while at a fun family event spend about a buck and download that song and you immediately think back to that fun time. :-) Yesterday while at Downtown Disney I heard 4 great songs and downloaded them. I'll remember that due to the items I bought a wallet and glasses but also I heard those 4 songs. (Downtown Disney is a shopping center based around Disney in case someone didn't know.)

My sister was shocked I still had her wedding stuff. But I like tangible items to remember events and celebrations. :-)

I love saving mementos! I have moved over 40 times in and out of the country and have lost so much personal stuff that it makes me sad.

keep your stuff, especially if it makes you happy and puts you in your happy place.

I also like keep souvenirs of the events that happen in my life. I still have artifacts from Expo 86 that took place when I was 11. I also have stuff from Seaside Oregon and West Edmonton Mall that I bought in 1994 and 1997.

NO!

I hate remembering things. I get terrible flashbacks, even if it was a seemingly good time.

The only things I keep hold of are things that have a functional use. i.e. bikes and stuff like that.

I don't have photo albums or anything like that.

All the things I do own have no sentimental value whatsoever, I can't stand anything like that al all, thank you very much.

I don't necessarily save my memories, but I've had moments where I have attached memories to objects indirectly. My thoughts do not truly have that much emotion attached to them to be honest, even when they are deemed as "significant" to my subconscious mind.

I'm a hoarder, I save everything hate throwing stuff away. I get anxious if stuff gets thrown away, my dad has been known to throw something out and me go through the garbage and take it out again. I was getting anxious when my mom said she was throwing out some of my high school notes because I wanted to keep them. My art too I don't want to throw any of it out, oh and stuffed animals, I am 26 and still have a ton of stuffed animals because I don't want to throw any of them out. I hate sorting through stuff to clean stuff because throwing stuff out makes me anxious.

Cleaning out the house is like opening up a time capsule, its really fun to do every 10 years or so.

Condensing skills are good to have then you don't have to throw much out also after about 10 years you should began to get an idea of what will likely become a valuable antique and what is really just trash.
