I've had sensations that are similar to a heartbeat, or (on the slow end) similar to being in the ocean.

when I stim I tend to physically sync with preexisting sensations along these lines. my rocking or tapping, etc, are far more soothing when they share a time signature with the innate, omnipresent pulsing that I feel any time I listen.

do you experience pulsating/throbbing/rhythmic sensations that are independent of physical and biological stimuli?
