When i was younger around 2 or 3 i would go to church with my family and the main place where everyone sat down had carpet and
I would be under the seats next to my family rubbing my hands on the carpet and it would create a numbing sensation but did'nt hurt or anything.

Anyone else having similiar stimming actions they would do around the same age or older?

I would'nt call what i did a stim rather just something i would do because of the way it felt and i liked it i guess, wondering if it is because of me having aspergers?

I think it's pretty common. Many autistics like to rub rough textured surfaces. I've seen people rubbing towels, blankets, their own trimmed beard or wool sweater. :) I myself like to ruffle a boy's hair if it's short. I don't know your age. But if you want to do that easily, grow a beard. Then you can rub it and pretend you're thinking deeply. :D

I still do that occasionally now, which sometimes raises awkward questions with my friends :/

I rub couches, and run my hands over walls, and rub my backpack, and yes.

I recently got a brush and have been brushing my hands with it.
I mean a smooth paintbrush,
it's a very nice feeling.

Playing with my beard is my most common, frequent stim. I do it all the time. I tug and pull on it too. I hate to shave for the sole purpose of when I rub there's nothing there to play with anymore.
I also like cutting my hair down to 1/4 of an inch because at that length it's spiky and I like to rub it constantly. Even the ladies like doing that too.
