Any one here intune with animals. Today was a good day. My brother came home with his dog. I loved having the dog here, I spent more time with the dog then my brother. It was interesting how in tune the dog was with what is going on, I could tell the dog was anxious. A couple times I petted him until he calmed down. He had a bit of a startle response and was hyperventilating a bit, the poor dog But he calmed down when I sat and petted him, and by the time the left he was a lot calmer Plus it was free pet therapy for me so that was great. My brother is flying with the dog tonight. I hope the dog will be ok in the plane.

I felt I could relate more to the dog than I could to humans, it was weird, it was if I knew what to do to calm him down and also he would calm down when I petted him. Dogs are more aware than I think people give them credit for.

Animals don't lie.

Their body language is much easier to read too. Smaller vocabularies.

I go out early every Saturday morning and there is always a little bird just at the bottom of my drive when I turn right.

I talk to it and it actually looks at me and takes notice.

It makes me so happy.

Sometimes it has a little worm in it's beak too.

I think it's a starling.

Hi Pinkgurl,

I know what you mean about being more I tune with animals. I can understand my cats a lot than I can humans and I spend more time with them than I do my parents and brother.

They just understand me a lot better and they're so simple, so I can tell how they feel too.

Animals are the people I relate to the most.
:rabbit: :albino: :cat: :pig: :elephant:

I mean non-human animals mostly.

Well know humans are animals technically, well primates to be exact, but I meant animals that are not humans. Yes they are simpler to read, and they don't talk back and the love you for who you are.

I have 2 cats and find that they are easier to "talk" to than other people. They're also a bit less annoying and cuter to look at. And they only have 3 reasons to bug you: food, go outside or playtime.

I find animals are easier; they have fewer layers of social constructions and are generally simple. I certainly find my cats easier to deal with than NTs :)

I guess this explains why I was so interested in animals when I was in grade school....and still am.

Of course they are easier to read; animals don't lie and don't have hidden agendas. They are very literal, they won't communicate one thing; but, mean another

But sometimes their vocabulary can be too small.
This is better, still, but it is still tricky to work out which of the three things it is.
