- Diagnosed by Psychiatrist with OCD
- Has always felt "different" and was teased/bullied a lot in high school due to things they liked or how they liked to dress
- Always been awkward around others, gotten worse as gotten older
- Attachment issues to those that they do like/love - has a hard time letting that person go out without them, or ending a bad relationship/friendship with that person
- Trust issues - doesn't trust people and their feelings, thinks people don't like them when they do, doesn't trust others to follow through, doesn't trust others do to task for them because they will not do it how the person wants it done or how the person would do it
- HATES when people do not follow through, causes extreme anxiety
- HATES surprises
- HATES small talk
- Cannot follow a conversation when the person is giving FAR too much detail
- Gets lost in a request (from someone else) when that person gives more information than is required to complete the request (ie. their explanation of why they need the persons help)
- Difficulty prioritizing (appropriately) and transitioning from one task to another...
I am probably missing some, but based on those would you suspect HFA??
You've described me perfectly apart from points 16, 17 and 18 - I've a dreadful memory .
So yes to HFA - in my humble opinion .
