OP, that's what the entire site is for! We're telling our stories. And exchanging ideas and experiences. And just chatting, knowing that there are other people's brains which work a little like ours.
It's easier for us to answer specific questions than to just say, "Tell your story," because that is rather vague, and we much prefer specifics. If I were to tell my story, it would be book-length, and many parts of it would be rather boring, because I would not know which parts of it are relevant and which parts to leave out.
We ask each other questions all the time, though. Those are easier.
For example:
"Do you rock? what do you feel like when you rock?"
"How old were you when you were diagnosed?"
"How did you get on with your siblings?"
"Do you ever have trouble talking?"
"Do you use social scripts to get through routine interactions?"
"Are you 'out of the closet' or do you prefer to try to pass as NT?"
There've been topics on all of those. Try the search function, or ask a new question.
I did once get published in a book of "Six-word memoirs", which I think is about as brief as it gets. The idea was to write the story of your life in six words. Mine was:
"I don't really mind being autistic."
So I'll let that stand as my story. There's much more to me than that, but with only six words, that's as close as I can get.
