I love it! It's so calming. I don't mind hearing weak thunders as long as they are not too loud and more bass-based too.

My brother recommended me a website recently (which has rain in a loop - even with 3D sound), and I have to admit, it's great to get a clear mind and focus on a task in "trance". :D

Does anyone else like the sound of rain and/or consider it relaxing?

EDIT: Apparently (for some reason) the neutral option disappeared from the poll when I posted it, I really don't know how that happened or why, so I guess you'll have to mention if none of the options applies to you for whatever reason. :lol:

Me too. I love nature sounds and rain and thunderstorms are among my favorites.

I have a whole bunch of vinyl records and Cds that are just recordings of ambient nature sounds, and most of them are various forms of rain: Gentle Rain in a Pine Forest, one Thunderstorm in a Jungle, another in a New England Harbor, Night Rain in the City, several different generic Thunderstorms. The rest are Tree Frogs, Crickets, Birds at Dawn, A Mountain Brook and Monastery Bells.

Love rainy days. In the summer, I love walking in the rain-especially at night. :D

Me, too.

When I hear rain and thunder, I suddenly feel very happy. My mood immediately gets better.

I hate big rain, the nose created when the rain hit the air conditioner makes me overloaded.

I've made my own ambient rain and wind and thunder recordings. I listen to them when I need calming, especially in the summer.

I love all weather that I can watch from inside, outside I only really like slightly cold with sun. rain sounds brilliant when in a conservatory

i live in a rather arid area and prefer cold, wet weather to hot dry weather, rain can instantly make a bad day into a better one. we're in a drought now and the reservoirs are at 20% capacity. the sound of rain, best thing to fall asleep to. also distant train whistles at night, just so relaxing and cozy...
