My birthday ends in 1 minute as I make this post. I've realized that today I haven't eaten a thing; I've only had water and my meds.

Happy Birthday Beneficii, you can still celebrate it even the next day. Maybe you can have some cake today! :D

I hope you can eat the hell out of a luscious chocolate birthday cake.

Happy belated birthday. :)

It would probably be a good idea to eat something if you can...

Message from my mum:

Quote:
We were waiting for you to allow your Dad & I to celebrate your day. You gave us the impression that you wanted nothing to do with your birthday. I missed a very important day in my life as well. The day I gave birth to you was a Glorious Day and you were beautiful. Kinda hard to be close to you right now because of all of your obsessions.

My mum followed up with this, "Go get something to eat in the morning!" (which I did).

And then she showed the picture of an angry child, with the word RESENTMENT underneath. I had to ask her what she meant by that, and I am still waiting for her response.

I'm so sorry that your birthday seems to have been a miserable occasion.

Aww I am sorry your parents don't understand you.

My mother also thinks my birthday is something for her to celebrate because she gave birth to me. I guess I can see it from that pov but the point is, we just want to be left alone if they can't be to us what we need them to be. They want us around even if we are miserable. I will also never understand that.

Actually, I sorta enjoyed it. I was by myself, lying in bed, occasionally using the computer, spending most of my time brooding and loathing myself, which for many years I have come to experience as rewarding.

Since I seem to have no idea what to say in this thread other than "Happy Birthday"...

Happy Birthday!

Happy Birthday to you too Norny!

Beneficii, Have a great extended birthday day as well. Don't quite understand what you mum means either but I don't understand half of what my mum means sometimes. So sometimes all I can say is "Oh well" and just try to carry on with my day.
