For those of you that might like video games I think I'll tell you what fascinates me most about them. Video games have come a long way since 1971. The year is 2005 now and look at the games compared to the 70s, 80s, and even the 90s. People look a lot more realistic and so do many other objects they're not blocky like they were in the 90s they are not 2D like some were in the 80s.
I hope I am not boring you with this. I think the game 'Gran Turismo' came a long way in 8 years just 8. Gran Turismo 3 A-spec was photo-realistic just 2 years after its prequel it is truly amazing wouldn't you agree?

It is amazing. I remember when the best graphics were on NES. Now look at all of the new systems with very realistic graphics. It makes you wonder what game systems of the future will be like.

The oldest system I've ever played is the Atari. I've seen a Jaguar before....it was big. I enjoy the old games myself, some of today's games are too complex or grahics-oriented.

I have an Atari as well. That was my first game system. I don't remember much about it, though. But when I was five years old, my mom got an NES. Sometimes I still play my older game systems. Just because the graphics are bad doesn't mean that the games are bad. It just depends on how much fun you have playing the game that matters. I enjoy both old and new games.

I'm still holding out for true virtual reality. The kind that's plugged directly into your nervous system and manipulates all five senses. Maybe during my lifetime...

It is soo good that the game producers are improving graphics because of the fact that crap graphics piss me off. The new Elder Scrolls is being released this year and its graphics are thee best RPG graphics. It is incredibly realistic.

I wish someone would invent virtual reality to, only super rich people would probably be the only ones to get it.

At first.... then the technology would improve, it would become commercially viable, and the demand would skyrocket.
