I have quite a few NT friends and associates, I'm sure they notice it but nobody has ever said anything about it.

Apparently I have normal eye contact.

They'd notice to the point where they'd actually thank me for looking at them (same with smiling). I think I've been getting better at it since it I don't hear from them as often.

Do you mean personally/individually or do you mean, is it an often noticed ASD symptom?

it is the totality of my uncanny-valleyness that people notice, not just the eye contact thing.

I seem to be able to make NTs think
that I make eye contact.

Maybe because I pay close attention and am fairly
good with conversation when I need be.

I get alot of "Didn't you See me go past the other day?"
I never go out of my way to make eye contact.

Ofcourse they do. Ofcourse they don't say anything when you are a grown up. I did get the old "Look at me while I'm talking to you " line allot when I was in elementery school.

Yes: everyone in my family has noticed it, and most have commented; my professors have noticed (and it seemed to freak at least two of them out to the point that they tried to position themselves in front of my face to force it), and obviously the person who did my assessment noticed; it's written in my file that I have "poorly modulated eye-contact".

I got that line too,

As for nowadays the only time someone says anything is when my mother is being critical.

I also had that when I was younger, however nowadays no even though people do know I presume but I try my best to look at them or into their eyes etc so maybe i just come off as shy, when it comes to school however allot of people know about my AS and even though I don't interact with them that much (trying to work on changing that) I presume they would already expect my eye contact to be less.

i'm told lack of eye contact is always noticed and interpreted in a negative way. the person who doesn't do eye contact is considered dishonest, or rude, or dodgy etc.

Hey Ezra, what do you want to be when you grow up? I bet you'll do great things some day!
