I read websites about this topic but I never seem to grasp what is the difference INFP/INFJ. They seem quite similar. It doesn't help that my results change between the two depending on the test.
The same thing happens for me! I get alternating results of INFP or INFJ, with the scores almost equal between J and P.
I have read a lot about the difference between the two types and it's still not totally clear to me either. And I have read that these are the two types that people have the most trouble differentiating. They
appear similar but according to the underlying cognitive functions they are basically polar opposites who don't share any functions. And people say you have to look at the functions to know which one you really are.
INFP primarily uses introverted feeling and extraverted intuition

Also something I have seen mentioned a lot is that INFJ is more likely to use direct language to tell other people what to do. INFP uses more indirect and informational language. For example:
INFJ says: Go to the store and buy some milk.
INFP says: We are almost out of milk.
