Sums me up perfectly. Especially as a child when one of my special interests came up, I went from shy to extremely extroverted to the point it annoyed the heck out of everyone.

guys, extrovert doesn't mean being talkative and introvert doesn't mean being shy

I always beam when someone asks me about my interest,it feels like the question I've been waiting for all my life, and here is the super-rare ocurance that it happens.

Kind of funny how much joy can sometimes be derived from a mere question.

Indeed it doesn't. I found that when talking to others about a special interest or being in a warm and friendly environment (not too many of those!) I am energized to the point I act like I am on drugs. In school I rarely talked to anything and found classmates draining because I could not care less about the silly trend going on at the time.... Unless it was Nintendo games that is!

I'm an extrovert on WP or when I'm with my friends. I'm an introvert when I'm with my family or at the clubhouse I go to.
