Why isn't there a label for rigid thoughts and behaviors?

If they have social communication disorder, why don't they have a disorder for the rigid thoughts and behaviors? I know that there's OCD, but I don't think it's exactly the same.

I thought there was. I call them "rigid thoughts and behaviours" or, "rigid" for short.

OCPD(obsessive compulsive personality disorder) not to be mistaken with OCD seems pretty similar to that sort of thing.

Well, the abbreviation RRBI (Restricted, Repetitive Behaviours, and Interests) is the term for that aspect of ASD.

But I don't know of a specific disorder that has exactly that diagnostic criterion, in the same way that Social Communication Disorder corresponds to the other major diagnostic criterion for ASD.

I have wondered the same question myself, so I am interested in the answer.

I always thought they called it OCD if someone had that behavior alone. OCD is supposed to cause distress and the person hates it in themselves and it's not suppose to soothe them or keep them calm but if it does, I thought they still called it that.
