It basically refers to the severity of your symptoms; your difficulty with speech is definitely more classically autistic than Asperger's, since aspies, by definition, frequently have above average verbal abilities, even if they can't use them to converse appropriately. Your other symptoms, such as stimming, meltdowns or lack of eye-contact may also be more severe than is normally found in AS, and if your interests are more object-based than information-based (obsessing over lightbulbs rather than collecting facts about trains for example) that might also be indicative of a more severely autistic neurology. You'd have to ask your psychiatrist for specifics though.
