I have Google Play Music and Netflix on all my devices it is amazing how much I mellow out when I relax and use them.

Getting out for a swim a walk a meal a movie or even a drink can do wonders for my mood.

I think many of us spread too much time on analysis of the Autistic spectrum.

The discussion on here can be very useful but switching off for some leisure time is important too.

Sometimes I have to force myself to get out but once I do get out I never regret it.

I am going to LAX for plane-spotting this Saturday, I look forward to it.
I also like to go for long walk through Old Town Pasadena on Sundays, after I get some work done.

I think you're right, Sharkattack. People on this site do become overly obsessed with autism, or their autism.

When I was a kid, I used to enjoy doing what btbnnyr does now: watch planes. LOL...I never liked walking through something like Old Town Pasadena, though; I'd rather take a hike in the woods.

I think going out of your home, and exploring the world, is invariably a healthy pursuit for anybody--autistic or NT.

Plane watching. That is fun. There is an airshow coming up at the little airport near our house. I love attending it and seeing all the old planes and watching them fly. I LOVE watching the B52 take off at the end of the show. One day I will save up enough to take a ride in an open cockpit plane at the show. But just going to the regular airport is really fun. There was one airport that a friend told me about where you could lay on a blanket on a grassy hill and the planes would fly directly over you as they landed. That's so cool!

My favorite place to plane spot still LAX is just south of the IN 'n out on Sepulveda. It's such a crazy feeling to have those massive planes fly right over at such a low height.

9/10 times I have to force myself to go outside ( especially in the daylight and summer--I'm very sensitive to bright lights and heat) and I'm always happy to return. My home is safe and predictable whereas the outside world is the complete opposite.

I want to see an A380 taxi and take off.
I will look up the schedule and go at the right time to see one.

I have fun all the time. If I didn't, I couldn't get through the stress of my job. When when the work day is over, I get away and do what I want.

Oh man if you want to hear some good music head over the classical music thread I started in the music forum!

He's been there several times today and listened to a ton of music. I hope he's going to help me pay the internet bill this month! Maybe he can give some kids rides or something. :D

He does have to pay his fair share of the rent as well, I believe.

He does take up a considerable amount of space, I believe.
