Hi, I am a Polish

I suffer from Asperger's syndrome, but it not uncommon for WrongPlanet member :D But i have more serious problem Insomnia

Recently my psychiatrist attributed hydroxyzine me, she told me it was an old but proven drug, but it can be addictive, and the too frequent use ceases to be useful, for this I should use it no more frequently than twice a week, and it's only when I really go needed.

I would like to know if anyone tried it and what do you think of it.

PS I took it for 10 minutes and almost nothing yet feel :(

The commercial brand in the US is Vistaril. It's an histamine antagonist with anticholinergic and antimetic properties. The most severe adverse effects are arhythmia, hepatic failure and toxic psychosis.

Onset of effects: 15 to 30 min
Duration of sedation: 4 to 6 hr

I'm not on any drug, so I can't give you subjective data :P

I'm on it.

No terrible effects so far.

Just be careful, as with all medications.
