Please do not move this to random discussion. This is a serious question. If this doesn't belong in general autism discussion move it somewhere where I'll get serious replies.

When I was a kid I used to love being the center of attention. That was until I started getting bullied. Now I enjoy it when my internet personas or artwork is the center of attention. I have achieved this by trolling websites.

I rarely bullied anyone, I usually just posted non-sensical, repetitive or controversial content. I know that trolling isn't the best thing to do. I want some ideas on how to satisfy this need without trolling.

I have regularly 'trolled' as a form of attention-seeking. The internet actively invites trolls. But so long as you avoid abusive comments or language, then usually you are OK. Trolling is also an opportunity for Aspies to post their neuro-diverse opinions about things, and just occasionally you will get some unexpected support.

Regarding thread moving: The level of seriousness isn't the issue, it is whether threads are about or related to Asperger's or autism that determines if they should be posted in this particular forum. Your other thread was moved because it was about trolling and no mention or reference was made to Asperger's or autism. Trolling is a form of attention seeking behaviour independent of whether the troll is NT or otherwise.

I do avoid posting abusive language and comments. The only time I was "abusive" was when I was trolling the last.fm Nickelback page when I was thirteen. I still manage to get banned despite never personally attacking anyone. I didn't even personally attack people when I was trolling Nickelback's page. I just said mean things to the people that were mean to me.

Find a forum that is basically for nothing but trolling. There must be something on 4chan. Or all of 4chan.

That might be a good idea, but they'll probably just call me noob.

Well..."they" were all 'noobs' once themselves!
