I don't believe so, ask Lorna Wing.

If you could point me to a free copy in German, I could try to translate. I wondered about this, but look what I found?

Quote:
Hallo Bolli!

Zitat:

Annette

That means:

Quote:
Hello Bolli!

quote:
You Know, Asperger-Syndrome is often confused with AD(H)D.

Not just often, rather almost always. Most of the kids in the parents of aspergers children mailing lists first got the diagnosis of AD(H)D, because many symptoms are similar. With Uli it was also in the speech. That is also the reason why so many Asperger people are diagnosed very late. The oldest "child" in the mailinglists got diagnosed at 26 years of age.

Friendly Greetings

Annette

I KNOW most AD[H]D people AREN'T AS, but it DOES make you wonder! HOW MANY are simply misdiagnosed.

Steve
