Today is a particularly rainy day, and I must say that I love them! Anyone else prefer the rain? I always seem to be a little happier when it rains. I love the sound of water splattering outside on various objects. I love the way the grey clouds distort the light to make things calmer and cause certain colors to look differently. But most importantly, I love how it blocks the hot, searing, painful sun and the accompanying heat that it brings along with it.

What color is the rain in Dagobah?

Seriously, I do like the rain when I'm indoors--I like the wind accompanying it as well.

I wouldn't voluntarily listen to rain noises but there is something satisfying about being in a warm, dry house looking out at the rain.

Clear, the color of rain is in Dagobah, hmmm.

I agree with your last statement, and it looks like Ces is there with us. I don't really like wet clothes/shoes. Let me restate that--wet clothes and shoes drive me nuts, especially the feeling of wetness at the bottom of pants, and the cold sensation rubs against one's legs.

Summer rains are a complicating thing for me. I love the break for the sunshine, but also dislike the brutal humidity that is involved with the storm. I'm not sure what I dislike more though, but without over thinking it, I'd probably say the sunshine.

I love rain, it's my favorite weather! The only time I don't like it is when it brings horrible humidity instead of cooler air, or when it causes the power to go out. Otherwise, it's great.

Storms are cool within reason.

It stinks on multiple levels if have an important place to be. My motor coordination is poor and I do not drive and carrying an umbrella and another item such a briefcase is difficult for me. So a drenching rainstorm, a half hour wait at an open bus stop is problematic if I am trying to present a good image. There were plenty of days when I was working it took me until lunch to dry.

I really love storms, lightning and thunder. As long as I'm not out in it.

I do until it comes to at time when I need to take the dog out. Not so bad in winter but in summer when the footpaths are overgrown with weeds, wet weeds that get your jeans wet above the knee. Too much clay in the soil too where I live, makes it very slippery under foot. Love going into town on rainy days though as it keeps a lot of people in doors

I love rainy days.

When it's sunny out, I'm always squinting and I can barely see and I feel like my skin is roasting and I feel dazed and weak outside on a sunny day. On a rainy day, I get to fully enjoy nature.

I don't really like rainy days all that much. It's always so cloudy and everything looks sad! Plus I don't like it being wet because the humidity goes up.

The noise is nice, though.

I like rainy days.

I like how the water washes all of the stagnation away, cleans things, refreshes things and makes everything all shiny and look like new.

I feed off negative ions and I just love the smell of ozone and fresh rain on hot concrete.

Also, it reminds me of how we can remain dry if we choose to, or go outside and just soak it up literally.

However, if it rains for anymore than about 4-5 days consecutively, I start to really tire of it.

So, I prefer massive thunderstorms with really heavy rain. It also helps me sleep - who needs a relaxation tape?
