Sometimes especially when I?m highly stressed I?ll be talking and it can happen with someone else or I can just be talking to myself. And suddenly I?ll hit a word and I just loose the ability to say it. I can think of the word, I know how to say it, I?ve said it in the past perfectly fine and in a few minutes I?ll be able to say it again. And there is nothing triggering about the word it?s totally random the one that comes to mind is actually ?the? and I just hit it or another random word whatever it happens to be and I can?t say it anymore. I?ll try to say and it?s stupid I mean it?s easy to talk it?s easy to form sounds and words and I?ll do it but for that minute my voice just won?t do what my mind tells it to anymore it's like if your arm just suddenly stopped moving when your mind told it to. My only solution is to close my eyes, stop and focus on my breathing, wait a minute and then everything will be fine again. If anyone can relate to this problem is it an autistic trait or something else and if so what?

Yes frequently when I was and and occasionally am verbal and speak.

This was very common for me sometimes words would also come out really jumbled and more like sounds as well

Yes. I have it too. It comes at random (I can't say I am particularly stressed before it occurs but stress can trigger it too) and just prevents me from saying a world I know very well and use frequently. Lets say it is for example the word "anything". It becomes "Anthik", "Abnfik", "Anaving" then I take a deep breath and say "Damn it. A-ny-thing! <laugh>". I have to say it very slowly for it to come out right.

I have something similar. When I'm talking I'll sometimes forget a word, usually a common ordinary word. But it's not that I can think it but just can't say it, I can't remember the word at all. Usually a minute or two later I'll remember it. It doesn't happens when I'm typing.

If I'm stressed or uncomfortable around someone because I feel they're hostile or impatient with me, it happens more often. In those cases I can sometimes think of what I want to say but just can't get it out at all or it comes out garbled.

Yes it happens to me too. I also forget words, or just blank out and forget what I was talking about mid-sentence. Or sometimes try to say 2 or 3 words at once and mix them up into one gibberish word.

I've been told I pronounce certain words strangely. And I tend to skip some words when I write, that's why I have to proof read a few times lol.

I do all the time but I just either put any word in the sentence to replace it or sit quiet until it either comes to me or the person I am talking to says it

It happens to me a lot; especially if I have to think really fast of a certain word. There are some words that just give me a brutal time saying--even slow. For instance, even though I'm prone to do this frequently, never ask me to say soliloquy out loud.

I do this way too much. When I realize I forgot what I was going to say, I get flustered and then my speech falls apart. I find that it happens more often if I'm in an uncomfortable situation.

Sometimes I can forget a word of/about something even tough I can see or hold that item. I can remember that word before I am going to say but when I am going to say it, I forget it. It takes me some seconds to remember that word again.

If i`m in a stressful situation, I have trouble starting any sentence that begins with 'W"(when, where, why, who, what). I don`t stutter. The word just will not come out.

Yes ... I will have the thought in my head, but can't recall the word for it. And sometimes I have the word in my head, but another word comes out of my mouth.
