I (almost) survived family vacation!

Well - I just got back from a family vacation this past Saturday. 25 people in one house for a week at the beach. Normally it is fine - because I can take walks or run "errands" to find some alone time. But we had pretty bad weather...which meant we were all inside...together.

I only had one "outburst" during dinner one night. I just couldn't take it anymore - it wasn't a conscious decision, it was more of a reaction - and I stood up yelled at everyone and went to my room.

Keep in mind that only two people in the house know that I am an aspie. Soooo...I had to do some apologizing for ruining my brother's birthday dinner. Which wasn't fun. And now everybody thinks that I am just even more strange.

But hey...it could have been a lot worse!

Crammed in a house with 24 other people for a week and you only went off the deep end once?

Wow

You should get a medal. And a presidential citation. And a large chocolate cake.

I will settle for the cake!
