Hello everyone,

Everytime I'm close to other humans my head starts to hurt for some reason. I don't know why. Does this happen to you?

Sensory overload can cause a headache. I believe it's a tension headache, similar to what stressed-out people get. It's caused by unconsciously tensing muscles around your head until they start to hurt.

So if you find people overloading, that could cause headaches.

Not really unless they do too much voice and there is too many of them. But it is a sensory issue and might happen also without any people around. It's not like I am allergic to people or something. As long as they are calm/silent enough I'm fine.

I don't get headaches when I'm "too close" to people.

Sensory overload does me to suffer from tension headaches. Even the light of the TV sometimes has that effect.

My head only hurts when they open their mouth and start to speak 8O

(my feeble attempt at sarcasm)

I think I might know the problem, either my sudden silent depression when around people or because of my paranoia. Also when they talk.

After a few minutes of being in a crowded place like a museum or a subway, yeah.
