I rarely think of people as being smart or stupid, but I always think of people as being interesting and boring. I do not get along with boring people at all. They're just so annoying and nearly impossible to talk to.

Most people are boring, because they don't have any brains. Stupidity is epidemic in this world and unfortunately there seems to be no cure for it.As the old bumper stickers and t-shirts once said, "Beam me up Scotty. There's no intelligent life on this planet." Well, not much intelligent life anyway.

Is it lack of brains or independent thought? We Aspies tend to think outside of the box instead of replicating the work of others. But then again the educational system may be partly to blame as all they teach now is how to take tests. Not truly understand and think for themselves. I suspect this has much to do with it. At any rate society tends to be most unkind to the "independent" thinkers. We don't fit neatly into their model of how people should think and act....

One person's boring is another person's interesting. And vice versa. Thank G-d or whatever deity you pray to. Or thank nobody, if you don't ;)

I've lately come to the conclusion that the people I work with are the most boring people on the planet. But I sort of suspect that's a problem with my brain though since they don't think each other are boring. I think my mind is just too restless,

Ha, I keep wishing I could get my cat designated as a support cat so I could bring him in (like that would work).
Support elephant though - that's the thing. :D

The people I find boring are the ones who are always asking questions.

The people I find interesting are the ones who have their future planned out and find their answers themselves.

I tend to find people boring when they have nothing to talk about.

Here I am adjusting to what AS is, and THAT'S the reason why I have such a difficult time socially. Small talk is so difficult for me that I try to find groups where I can just listen and nod my head w/o contributing to conversations. But one-on-one I flounder and my words and thoughts flop around like a fish out of water. I'm sure I come across as boring to others. Now I feel judged by the very ones I felt would be more understanding! :(

Well sh*t, I must be extremely boring! Unless it's a special interest or something I'm genuinely interested in... these lips are sealed.

Same for myself as well. I must come off as really dull to most others.
