i find i become violent when i cant communicate, i can speak but i cant formulate certain words in ways that i can communicate complex needs and desires, such as disliking the way someone is talking to me or liking someone in anyway, this causes me to grab, hit, yell, scream and kick ( it doesnt matter if its positive or negative this just happens ). does anyone else feel this way?

I know the exact feeling

I had a violent meltdown alone in my house this morning, it was because i drank coffee 8O Coffee some times does it to me but usually coffee makes me fell better 8O I kicked and punched a lot of things around the house for about 10 minutes strait. i kicked and punched holes in my door and even pounded my head against the washing machine, i havent head pounded in a long long time. I dont usually get violent around other people tho. It goes from frustration into sadness or something pretty quickly when melting down around other people then i have to leave and i cycle theu that a few more times but will generally feel like s**t around people.

I really hate it when i cant communicate with people but it usually only happens to me when i am already really flustered or mid meltdown

Some autistic people, despite being able to speak, use an assistive communication device or sign language because they find it easier to convey what they actually want to say that way.

Yes this happens to me and often leads to a meltdown. I think that's where my selective mutism comes in maybe as a overload defense mechanism.
