Shy Bladders?

Is there anyone here on the spectrum who has a shy bladder? I just want to know how common this is for those on the autistic spectrum. I know I tend to be a little shy of going in public, but I'm fine going once I get home. Unless, I have to go like... really bad and know I won't last until actually getting home. ><

So, just curious of who else has a shy bladder?

I've never had a problem with it. but theres been lots of kids on my teen forums who have said they have it. there's also kids 13-16 who are still bed wetters. most of them don't have autism.

Yes. I sometimes flush the toilet in a public rest room and wash my hand so I don't look funny coming out of a stall without having actually used it. When I was a toddler I even had an ultrasound done on my bladder because my mom was worried that something was wrong with me.

Nope I can wizz pretty much anywhere and don't mind however I hate taking a dump anywhere else than my house, public restroom toilets are normally disgusting and I can't take a dump in an area with lots of traffic. Also they normally have single ply toilet paper which is basically white sand paper

I find it hard going to the bathroom in public, especially if it's noisy!

I have no problem taking a piss anywhere I have to but I will try to by all means, avoid having to sit on any toilet other then the one at home(or in my hotel room when I travel.).

Oh, I´ve had that and still do. My bladder sometimes "locks", if there is a queue or if I think, someone can see me, but I´ve become better. I had to learn, when I started fishing from shore. Sometimes, there is only a thistle to hide behind.

I'm 27 and still have the problem, so do many nts. I usually go out of my way to make sure water is running.

One thing I can tell you is don't get overly conflicted over it, as long as the deed can be done, I prefer to see it as a sign that were more socially concious than others would sugguest.
