I remembered math lesson, when teacher asked one girl to imagine 90 degree triangle to spin. Teacher asked that did it spin and girl answered yes. I started to wonder that can other people really see that triangle spin around one of it side even though it is on flat surface. I asked it from some friends, 2 answered that it spins and one answered that it is not. I find it difficult to imagine something, I can see things like they are in physical world. I can think and maybe see pictures or videos in my head of things I have already seen, but not (unless very little) change them.

Is it normal to see 90 degree triangle spin around one of it side so it forms a cone?
Is my imagination poor?
Sorry about missing "the" everywhere, I am not good in that rule. Also I forgot something that I had to write.

Never thought of it like that before- but yeah- I can imagine it.

Imagine a page in a book-except the page is cut diagonally along the hypotenus-so the page is a right triangle. Then you just flip the page. But then the rest of the book vanishes and "the page" spins on it's axis (where the page was attached to the book) and becomes a three dimensional blur in the shape of cone. Pretty easy to imagine.

I don't know, some things I can imagine in my head, but if it has anything to do with maths, my mind goes blank because I do not have a mathematical mind. I do spend a lot of time having images in my mind because that is what mostly causes anxiety for me.

Yes, it is normal to be able to imagine triangle spin around to form cone, and other visual mental manipulations are normal too.
Some people are not as good at this as others, there is spectrum of ability.
Some people are really bad at visual-spatial tasks and might have non-verbal learning disorder.

I can imagine the triangle spining, but my imagination in general is usually pretty poor. I am more logic and mimicry.

In cognitive psychology, this is called "mental rotation". There are lots of studies on it. It's a skill some have and others don't - like being able to draw for example (although it's not related to that).

Yes, I can imagine it. I actually did poorly on all of the visual-spatial IQ tests except the one that tests the ability to mentally manipulate objects while you look at them. I think it was called matrix reasoning, but I'm not sure.

I was trying to imagine this, but I ended up with some pictures of the triangle, but not with cone. I could think about it in head but I couldn't see it.

This what I've noticed about my imagination. When I read a book and then see the movie version of that book, what I saw in my head was a lot simpler and on a smaller scale, had a lot less details.

I really struggle reading fiction unless I've seen the film before I don't mind non-fiction though. Its like I just see the characters in my head unless I've actually seen them
