I'm sure everyone has heard of these lists with gifs describing social situations. I have to ask, though autism and being anti-social aren't necessarily one and the same, how much of this list describes anyone here?

 Most of them fit the bill for me.

I've actually started telling people now that I'm antisocial when I get invited to go out because I'm sick of making excuses. It doesn't work though, it seems to make them even more eager to get me to go out.

They probably think I'm joking.

I just can't win.

Why'd they have to use the word "antisocial"? Antisocial is another word for "criminal", or "sociopathic".

Why not use "introverted"?

It's probably meant to be a joke or something, but I agree that 'introverted' works better. Or even 'shy.'

It's asocial, not antisocial.

I hate the word shy. It implies that there is something wrong with me. I prefer the word asocial because it implies that just don't like socialising

Technically, sociopathic and antisocial are different - sociopaths are a subset of antisocial people.

But yeah, antisocial and asocial are separate things.

I am not antisocial, nor am I asocial.

I was often described as shy when I was young and considered it slander.

Introverted, yes.

This list was clearly created by a sensible, intelligent person.

In #7 I would probably just do without...
18 is alien to me. I know exactly what to do.
21 is not a situation I have encountered or ever expect to enounter.

23 was created by a soul mate.

But basically, yes to this list.

I agree, it's more like "introverted", or asocial at the extreme. I understand that it's a joke, though.

I like this one: "30. That you?re not a total misanthrope; you just use your time wisely with people you really enjoy." :)

Oh, yessss....

How about "hermit". Introverts still need a few special people in their life. Just because we don't like parties doesn't mean we want to be alone all the time.

I fit most of the list, but I just want to say, it's not because I hate people. I just get exhausted having to feed attention to people around me that I might not see again. People (normals anyway) need so much confirmation from everyone around them socially, that I just get tired and want to hide inside after a party or a conversation. I love company, I just don't want to talk to them constantly. For most people these two things are one in the same, when they are completely different. I've only made 3 friends in my whole life that get this, and we can all just sit in the same room and read or watch TV without shallow conversation and be fine. But to the other several billion anxiety ridden people plaguing the earth say I'm "boring" and "not very friendly".

#8 and 28 fits me almost perfectly, because there's no better feeling than spending time by yourself willingly just because you can.

I question why some of those numbers are around. For example, I don't live near a beach so that wouldn't apply to me.

I was unable to read(understand) most of those because moving gifs were distracting me.

Some of those I was able to read fit but not all of them. I am not an extreme introvert and my social phobia is not that strong.
And I actually get pissed off, not happy when people cancel plans - it means they are probably going to make the plan some other time (in unknown time) and will have to go for all the mental preparations again. Once I am ready to do something I want to do it and don't think about it anymore. Plus - I generally don't like to change plans, even if the change is pleasant.

Also, who generally goes to a bar to read?
