Sometimes I just trully cannot stand people. If someone has irritated me I seem to carry them round with like a ghost long after I am in contact with them. I suppose it is just a reflection of annoyance with myself, does anyone else get this?

Not exactly like this, but if I get reprimanded it stays with me and echoes around in my head, getting worse and worse long after everyone else has forgotten about it, and more often than not I end up in tears. Huh, very manly! NTs can be careless about feelings.

Oh yes I know that feeling too! It feels like I've been wounded if get criticised or reprimanded! I'm just too sensitive!

Not for nothing but, as an NT, I can say this is not specific to Asperger's. We NT's also get irritated with people, and often obsess over our encounters with annoying people long after the encounter has passed.

I think that's one of those things that varies by personality maybe. I tend to experience it, file away what I want to change as a result and forget it. Maybe it's just difference in how each of us deals with it?
