Sorry if I am posting this in the wrong forum, none really stuck out as being the "right" one. I was wondering if any of y'll are from northern or central Indiana. I was thinking that it might be nice to hang out with some of you in person. I am from a small town and the only Aspie I know irl... which makes me feel pretty isolated. I was just thinking we could grab lunch or something.. might be nice to get a group of us together so it is not so awkward.

BTW, I have checked places like http://www.autismsocietyofindiana.org/ for social groups, but none are listed. Also, I don't want to join a parent group either.. for obvious reasons

I'm in indiana, :( but the south area of the state(seymour). I do know what you mean about the feelings that come from not knowing or having people to hang out with irl with aspergers(aka, same thing/experiences here).

I'm from the south part, near the Ohio river. It isn't a very populous state and AS isn't a common condition, so it is hard to meet people in real life. I do hear that Indiana has a high rate of AS compared to other states, so you may find people eventually.
