The commercial that makes me want to explode

I, on numerous occasions, have seen a... Gelato commercial. It makes me twitch and wince, my misophonia just causing me to go insane.

Does anyone else get absolutely horrified by the little noises that are made during the commercial?

Not bothered. A little aroused maybe though.

Just another way of dragging sex into an ad. Making the name of the flavors sound like moans of lust (to put it delicately).

Not as revolting as that commercial that showed a felt tip pen writting numbers on people's teeth like 20 years ago.

I never really think of things in a sexual way, so I guess that's that.

Writing on teeth? Oh no thank you.

Evidence you are American: you are taking a commercial too seriously.

If dragging language that would be used to describe sex is pretty bad, the borderline pornographic images that some stores have should be addressed first.

That commercial doesn't do anything for me.

I do not understand? I did not intend for my revulsion to be based on the thought that the commercial was too sexual. No, it is simply the sounds that are made during the commercial that put me on edge. I have no reason to be disgusted by these sounds, I just am. In the same way that I cannot be in a room with a ticking clock. Some sounds just...

I can see how the noises can be bothersome, though the gelato itself looks delicious. It would probably annoy me a lot more if they spammed it a million f*****g times like they do with other commercials on TV. There should be a law that television advertisers need to come up with new ads every month. It's not realistic, but I just hate seeing the same stupid ads over and over.

Most likely you are too young to remember this one. I so HATED this commercial.

I'll admit I was bothered a bit. Mostly by the whispering and the way the male voice articulated the 'p' sound. It kind of makes me feel like their mouths are right next to my ears, which is an extremely uncomfortable thought.

Here is one I remember when I was a kid and this one would put be in sensory overload big time. It was moving so fast that it would send chills down my spine.

fortunately I was eating ice cream when watching that aha. didn't bother me, but other sound effects and stuff in commercials does.

Oh god, I HATE the song in that commercial. It needs to be plunged into the depths of Mordor!

Better yet carried to Mt. Doom and tossed into the heart of it!

I played the Haagen Das commercial to my daughter who has misophonia and she did not react or even think there was anything wrong with it?
