My name is Hillary, and I am a clinical psychology student at the University of Massachusetts Boston. I recently launched my dissertation project, the Women's Sexuality Study, which looks at different parts of human sexuality (for example, sexual orientation, sexual desire, sexual satisfaction and dissatisfaction, exposure to sexual education) and well-being among women with an autism/Asperger's/spectrum identity. I designed this study to address a gap in the current research, and I really hope that the results of this study will be helpful to people on the spectrum, family members, romantic partners, and professionals. I also hope that people might find participating in the study affirming and fun. If you are interested, I would be happy to tell you more about the study! Please feel free to post here or PM me.
I am looking for women, and people with more fluid gender identities (for example, transgender, agender, genderqueer), between 18 and 30 years old to complete a 20-minute online survey. Your participation would be completely confidential, and you could choose skip any question that you did not feel comfortable answering. If you would like to participate, you can access the study at www.umbwomensstudy.com
This research has been approved by the UMass Boston IRB (ethics board). I emailed Alex a few times, but did not hear back; I asked about posting on the Wrongplanet.net discussion board. If this post is unwelcome or violates any rules, I sincerely apologize, and please let me know so that I (or a moderator) can remove it right away.
Thank you for considering it!
Hillary
