I though it would be interesting if we posted some pics of our pets for everybody to see. This is my Guinea Pig, Oreo. He lived to be 9 years old (I've only heard of such a thing one other time). Unforunately, he died early this morning before I could get him to a vet, probably of a stroke.

Anyone know how to make it show the full sized pictire on the post?

sorry to hear your guinea pig died today! that's awful! after 9 years.

I'll post some pics in a while, still figuring out how to use the camera.

Just as I was writing that, I saw my puppy run out the back door with something (both my dogs are shocking thieves) and it was my packet of tobacco (I smoke rollies). The older dog ate a bit, so she'll feel a bit funny! I've just picked most of it off the lawn.

They both have some kind of eye problem at the moment, maybe conjunctivitis, I took one to the vet a few days ago but he said just wait and see grrrr. So it cost me money and I got nothing.

If your dogs are older, it could be cataracts, those are very common. I've had two dogs that had those.

no, they're young, one is 12 months and the other 3 months, it's a slightly weepy eye with a bit of discharge, a bit itchy.

So are you having a funeral for Oreo? Deluxe cardboard box with flowers strewn over the grave?

I used a cardboard box, but no flowers. The body and box will probably deay into topsoil before there is any chance of it being disturbed.

He's a Shetland Sheepdog. He's definitely cute, but I know it's all an act. Note the horribly chewed up end of the collar sticking out on the left. And he ate my shoelaces the day we got him!

This is my cat "Monster." He is a Himalayan with cream colored points and is four-and-a-half years old.

I'm not very experienced at posting images, I can only get huge pics that take ages to load or thumbnails. I hope these are big enough to see my two whippets, the bigger dog is a girl, 12 months, named Tiger, and the little fellow is our boy, 4 months, named Snoopy.

Sean I'm sorry your Guinea Pig died. He was pretty old for a Guinea Pig so you must have taken very good care of him.
