In Plato's description of Atlantis he says there were 4 groups of people who were kept apart.
Warriors,Husbandmen,Artisans and Rulers.

The Warriors are the rednecks,NT people. They talk about who is the best fighter (who is the hardest?) all the time. They enjoy sports which is a substitute for war.

The Husbandmen are the animal lovers.

The Artisans are the aspies and a large part of the middle-class.

The Rulers are the politicians and actors, who are related...

If you think about it. You're implying that everyone is from Atlantis. Not just aspies.

Aspies are simply a divergent neurological population from the norm. I personally believe that those with mild ASD help supplement social groups by having a skill that they focus on more than social interaction, providing a talent that otherwise is not obtained through those who spend more time socializing. Kind of like how some people theorize that homosexuality helps social communities in animals by providing additional resources to rear young. That's just my two cents though.

I believe Asperger's, Autism, and other disabilities are caused by a gypsy or a witch putting on some sort of curse on your mum while she was pregnant with you. But that sounds a bit far-fetched. So I'll just say that disabilities including Autism and Asperger's are caused by some imbalance in the brain (or wherever the disability is), whilst the baby is forming.

Also the role of Brahmins got narrowed to to primarily religious knowledge. In this way the brahmins came to be identified as priest class rather than as people who preserve and disseminate knowledge of all types.
