The subject says it all so, the rules are simple. If you comment on this thread, you MUST quote this post of mine! mwahahaha

LOL...I get ignored all the time. People just pass me by. Perhaps, my posts aren't "intellectual" enough?

Truly, my friend, I wouldn't let that bother me.

If you post something about autism, it arouses peoples' interests.

You have some kind of synesthesia, I believe (which I don't have). Maybe you could relate that. You'll get responses. Guaranteed.

I just think he's lamenting being ignored. People on the Spectrum are too used to being ignored.

I get ignored all the time. My solution is to not let it bother me. C'est la vie and all that!

I also think he's making a little joke, too.

By the way: the OP ignored ME LOL...I wrote something about how I recalled our conversation 4-5 months ago--no response!

I had a fairly good day today. I had a good chat with my neighbor. I made some progress in preparing for my vacation. I get ignored so often that I even wonder if some people here actually actively dislike me. I actually thought you also sometimes ignore people, too.

EDIT: I think this thread should be in Random Discussion.

Thank you jk1 and I'm honestly glad you had a nice day. I wish we all could, every day :)

For the most part, people don't get ignored on purpose. I just think many people don't have much time, and prefer to comment on what's most pertinent to them at the moment.

Or: What was said by a poster was so good that no comment is needed

Or: Somebody doesn't have actual experience in something (e.g., synesthesia), so they can't comment on it--except to say: "I've never experienced synesthesia," which would really seem to be a rather lame post.

You're probably right....it's better in Random Discussion. It's not really discussing an Autism-related behavior. Ignoring people is universal, not peculiar to autism

At least we don't ignore you then later start verbally-attacking you for being shy like da NTs(one of their stupid games they like to play)

If somebody verbally attacks me for being shy, I'd just tell the schmuck: Make my day!! !! !

By the way: I'm being ignored right now--including by the OP!

Yes, I am used to it from NTs and it doesn't worry me but amongst my own kind, I had hoped it would be different. (still light-hearted)

LOL - Sorry kraftiekortie,

I would never have ignored you intentionally. I either misunderstood and didn't realize I needed to respond (as I usually do) or I just didn't see it.
We have history and I reiterate, I would never ignore you on porpoise!

No, sorry. It just takes me a long time to respond because I re-edit my posts like a million times before I let them loose.

I disagree. Out there (IRL) people get ignored when they are regarded as too low in the hierarchy to matter. If someone higher up says the same thing, they'll be heard and recognized for it.

I do that a lot too. In all my written communication.

This applies to people who are "low in the hierarchy" in general. Most of these people are not autistic.

I get where you're coming from, though.
