I've only read parts of "The Crucible."

But I know Arthur Miller's a great playwright.

You should read some of his other plays, too. They're good--but usually depressing. They bring up pertinent issues.

I read it years ago.

It's good, but depressing. Once you have read it or seen it, you will think of it when certain kinds of story come up in the news.
It is very much about the way social/group pressure can induce irrational behavior in people and how far that dynamic can go in bd ways.

It's a great book with a fantastic moral to the story, albeit depressing. I actually played Tituba in high school...

I have not read the book, but I have seen the play. It was good.

Everything he writes is depressing. He and Marilyn Munroe must have made a good couple. Try to avoid him like the plague. How about Jen reads "To kill a Mocking bird". Still has a moral to it but much more uplifting.

She has to do "The Crucible" for school.

You're right, "To Kill a Mockingbird" is an all-time classic. The movie was great, too.

Just did, in English class.

I suppose it's pretty interesting (while also frustrating?you'll see why). Better than the crap we've been forced to read in the past.

I read it. The butler did it. Haha only kidding.

I remember the movie more because it was so awful even the amazing DD Lewis couldn't save it.
