HD TVs & super Walmarts
Ive only recently learned about AS and sensory issues. It might be my imagination, but I seem to tic and stim and melt more since i started watching more high def tvs. Watching an old tv or playing an old video game seems to bother me less than new ones. Could it have something to do with the density of the visual info from the screen through my eyes and brain?
Also, super walmarts melt me down (and i have to leave or sit down and shut my eyes or find a place to hide for a while) pretty much every time im in one. Huge interior, lots of bright fluorescent lights, white tiles, rows and rows of stacked, colorful, labeled items, the constant "beep! beep!" of the registers, there's a lot to be processed. I don't seem to do so bad at a smaller stores.
Anyone else notice these things in themselves?
