It used to be sorting things out by ranting/venting about things in a somewhat safe haven & learning about myself & better ways to deal. But now it's that I met my girlfriend here.

i like to see if other ppl on the spectrum share my problems and occasionally hear about how they go about dealing with them.
i also like that there's very little hate or trolling around here, and for the most part ppl seem nice.

The fact that I met my fiancé here, as well as being able to relate to many of the users on this site.

The fact I can actually vent here and things that I see as distant and unrealistic seems to be more of a tighter connection.

This site makes me feel more human basically, depite how little like and resect that I actually get from places.

- Finding and reading about people with similar issues.
- The only forum where people are not insulting each other all day long.

Having people like me, where my opinions are not considered weird.

This is one of the few places I can fit in, and like learning about people.

The sheer number of posts that I read that I can relate to. There are so many issues that in real life would be cause for people to look down on me, think I'm "weird", etc.

Being able to express my opinions without fear of some physically violent act of reprisal. I can also form my opinions, organize them, and provide references without being interrupted or distracted. The Illuminati forum is my favorite part, however!

Discovering that many little oddities both big and small that had always made me feel embarrassed and different from everybody else are shared by countless others. Wrong Planet happens to be the largest "community" I have come across that share many of these peculiarities. Wrong Planet makes me feel a lot less alone.
