This study - Link - may be a few years old now, but I found it rather interesting.

Summary:
Essentially, since the 90's there has been an increase of fraudulent psychology, especially in the clinical setting. And that more untested, unscientific, and dangerous (physically and psychologically) have increased.
Not only that, but that standards for training for psychology have dropped significantly.

What do you all think?

I wouldn't be at all surprised. And it isn't just psychology. There was a article I read last year about the "dumbing down" of school teachers.

The quality of a lot of things - including education and professional standards - seems to be in decline these days. Hopefully the trend will reverse.

My friend and I call this the apocalypse. For us the apocalypse isn't some devastating cataclysm or supernatural doom, but a slow fade to black.

MUAHAHAHA! Like the heat death of the universe — go out with a wimper instead of a bang. I love it.
