New wrong planet

Does anyone else find the new wrong planet a little too bright? I also really liked how every other post used to alternate color and now it is a little harder to see. I still can tell where one post ends and another starts. This is just a little taxing on my eyes if that makes sense. I don't want to hurt Alex's feelings if by some little chance he reads this, it is really cute looking, but maybe adjustable settings would be better for some of us if possible. I'm not sure how hard that is though, so understand that I am not trying to judge.

I agree. Use your computer settings to adjust the contrast if he doesnt decide to change the color. The only best option I can think of, thats what I will be doing lol.

I've actually been quite surprised at the relative lack of whinging. On GameFAQs, there'd be outrage everytime the layout changed, with threats from people to leave the site because they couldn't bear the awful new design for weeks afterwards.

In the meantime, try f.lux (google it, it's free to download) and play around with the settings. Or look up the user FMX on this site and follow the instructions in his sig to get the classic blue/green colour scheme back.

I wasn't acclimated to the New WrongPlanet at first.

But I've gotten a bit more used to it.

The old wp was too dull, hence the new wp seems too bright. Just takes some getting used to.

I'm just now checking out the new WP...it'll take some getting used to, but I like it overall.

there's quite a few browser add ons to get around the colors, and computer adjustments that can be done.
i, for one used FMX's Stylish addon and it is fantastic.

works very well, and the ONE error i get is easy to get around (your post goes through anyway so no worries about that)
i also love the option to embed an image into a particular place into the post, i can't say i would have thought of that as a suggestion but nice!

I'm sure I'll get used to it eventually... but I don't do change well and at the moment I really do not like this layout. It's far too bright and it's giving me a headache. I like dull, dark colors, lol. The other color scheme was great on my eyes.

If you use public computers in a library, then you might have to re-apply it at each computer you visit. But it is really quick, a matter of 30 seconds. Hopefully they have Firefox or Chrome, and not IE :-/
