About a month ago, it struck me that there were certain aspects of being an entrepreneur - such as dealing with HMRC corruption - that I seemed to find harder as a result of my autism (I hate using the phone).

This gave me the idea that I could create a networking/support group in my local area for autistic entrepreneurs, but I wasn't sure about what the demand would be like. Interestingly, while testing the waters for the idea on Facebook I came across someone who was under the impression that all entrepreneurs are autistic.

I found that an interesting supposition, and having previously had conversations with other people involved in various types of human rights advocacy/activism (about how many activist/advocacy circles seem to have higher than average numbers of autistics in them), I thought it would be interesting to start a thread here discussing the question:

"Does Autism increase the chance that someone will be involved in entrepreneurship/activism?"

Any views? :)
