Have you been thinking about New Years Resolutions?

I'm resolving to stop drinking (alcohol). Its about time I do. I have tried on several occasions previously over the years with limited success.

After seeing how much success most people have with their New Year's resolutions, at the beginning of this year, I resolved to:

- Put on weight

- Do less exercise

- Eat more junk

- Be a complete cow to my family and friends.

This year, I have:

- Lost more than 15 kilos
- Am now swimming 40 laps 3-4 times per week
- Cycle 6 days per week
- Diet is super healthy and tasty too

- My family and friends deserve everything they get :-P

I'm going to try and sort out my finances and tackle them head on, instead of letting it all pile up.

I do usually stick to my resolutions when I make them.

I don't think I made one for this year, you know?

1. Lose some pounds

2. Tackle my financial problems

3. Just try to be a better person.

I never make them & hear it's better not to because it's easier to gradually give up or change habits instead of putting a lot of pressure on yourself to suddenly stop or change.

to hate/punish myself much less,
become more healthy - gain weight,
connect emotionally with more people,
change my situation so I can help more living beings like with cat rescues,
and try to avoid psychopaths.

Hating and punishing myself less would be a good start. Not that it'll happen but it'd be a good start.

I make one resolution per year and try make it stick. More than one is simply too hard.

Sounds good. I'd like to get a job in 2015.

Just two, and they're things I wanted to do, anyway. Don't want to overdo it.

1) Start jogging or running at least once a week.
2) Send in at least 3-4 submissions to magazines.
