A question for those who have a partner also with ASD

For those with ASD who have a partner also with ASD and you both have a kid, does that basically guarantee the kid will have ASD as well?

This is a question that can be answered best with data, not from anecdotes about personal experience.

The answer is no. There is an elevated probability that the child of two people with autism might have autism, but not at all a guarantee.
