Are you sure that you don't stim? You do know that stimming isn't just confined to hand flapping and head rolling, right? In fact, a lot of stims are very subtle and aren't immediately noticeable to most people. If, for example, I'm laying on my couch, I tend to roll my feet in a very tight circular motion. The reason I know that this is stimming, is because I do it every time that I'm stretched out on my couch(or bed for that matter). When I'm out in public, I also tend to put my hands in my pockets and roll my fingers into a fist repeatedly.
