Yes very possible. You change over time, and that test can very much depend on your mood and other factors.

I don't know what better suits you. You'll need to read up on each type to decide for yourself (I don't know you).

The Myers-Briggs isn't really that reliable.

The test is for entertainment purposes only. It's not serious. You may as well be taking those Facebook "tests" that tell you Which Disney Princess Are You.

I'm not surprised. Those tests are poor, with their only yes/no answers, when the reality is so much more complex. A lot of those questions can only be answered with "sometimes" or "it depends".

Just a change in mood might change one of the letters.

my last result was

Quote:
ISTJ

Introvert(67%) Sensing(50%) Thinking(1%) Judging(22%)
You have distinctive preference of Introversion over Extraversion (67%)
You have moderate preference of Sensing over Intuition (50%)
You have marginal or no preference of Thinking over Feeling (1%)
You have slight preference of Judging over Perceiving (22%)

I always get introvert, never extrovert, but the others are subject to change.

I get ISTJ or ISTP depending on my mood. ISTJ comes when I am stressed, ISTP when I feel fine.

When I read descriptions the ISTP fits my overall personality better.

As said, Myers-Briggs is all just made up nonsense anyway.

I wouldn't worry about your results.

Those tests aren't meant to give an absolute result. It's just an indicator of which type probably fits you. It's common for people to get different results at different times. And it's especially common for the IN-- types to get varying results.

I usually get either INFP or INFJ, and in the past I've also gotten INTP and INTJ. I used to think I was an INFJ. But after doing some research I realized I'm actually an INFP.

The types are a bit more complex than just I/E, N/S, T/F, and J/P. There are 8 cognitive functions and each type has different preferences for how they use those functions. Try taking a cognitive functions test. That might clear it up for you. http://www.keys2cognition.com/explore.htm

Don't worry about a Briggs-Meyer test, they're not scientific nor are they always accurate. You can trust my opinion I'm intj, which means I'm always right. ALWAYS...or at least that's how the Briggs-Meyer test assumes I should be.
