Have a friendship with a younger relation who has classic Autism.

I want to help this person as much as I can but a few ideas would be appreciated.

While I have totally failed to form meaningful friendships and relationships myself I have learned to interact pretty well with people on a superficial level.

As a person on the spectrum I can understand Autism but I don't have all the answers.

One answer mulling around in my head is just be a friend and be patient.

Try to avoid being patronising, and be aware of difficulties they have.
