Is there a differing factor, or is the ex-diagnosis Aspergers a combination of all these???

Either way, I'm certainly glad they ditched it & made it a part of general Autism spectrum, because it seemed to overlap with too many other psychiatric disorders.

You can't be serious, can you?

Your subject is about ASD vs Anxiety + ADD + Depression.

But then you restate the question as being about aspergers.

The features of ASD are not like those of depression, anxiety or ADHD unless you willfully misread small portions of the diagnostic criteria taken out of context.

The same is true of the DSM IV Aspergers diagnosis.

You could stitch up a sort of description of Aspergers from snippets about depression, anxiety and ADHD that wouldn't be completely wrong, but that's not how it works.

Taking such an approach is akin to mixing and matching words from different sentences and claiming the author intended a new sentence of your own design:
You can't take "I hate crabcakes. I love spicy popcorn shrimp. I consume huge amounts of coffee." and turn it into "I love huge amounts of spicy crabcakes."

Anxiety, depression and ADHD occur in people with ASD more than in the general population. That this is information that can be discerned is a clear indication that these are not the same thing.
