How are you about taking pictures??
I really dislike taking pictures ever since I can remember and I also don't know how to take ones like others do, few days ago one of my classmates wanted to take a picture with me- I didn't want to take that picture but I took it anyway, I found it weird how my classmate was holding the phone and making a face people do in selfies- I never do those faces in a picture and I find it stupid and I think it ruins the picture, now when I see the picture posted I see how different I look from my classmate lol I'm only smiling normally while my classmate has that strange face Why do people like doing that in pictures? Do you do it?

The selfies I did turned out looking very awkward lol I also don't like it when others take my picture because I feel exposed, most of the time when others ask to take a picture with me I don't like it and whenever I see someone taking a picture whether in public or not I try to stay away or hide myself so that I won't appear in the picture.
Yep for me too exactly like that.

I don't get the whole selfie duck-face look for girls. I like that it's made fun of by others and people have, for the most part, stopped doing it.
I don't take or post very many selfies anywhere EVER. I've noticed I look a little awkward in some and delete them until I snap one that looks OK. In part it can be my smile (too big) and my eyes. (avoiding eye contact with the camera?) I'm not always self aware of when I snap a terrible pic… I remember posting one to Facebook and then some people said I looked creepy - after taking a closer look at the pic, I think it was a combination of my smile, eye position, and camera angle.. it was just a crap pic lol.
But in general I don't mind having my picture taken by others at all and always smile for the camera. My twin brother, on the other hand, doesn't really like having his picture taken and never smiles w/ teeth showing unless he's laughing and it's a candid shot. Another (asd) friend of mine, who IMO is very photogenic, hates having his photo taken, too. I think it's a self conscious anxiety thing. Regardless, I accept and respect it.

Cute. I say this both in general & as a fellow homo.

Even w/ low resolution, it's kinda nice to put a face to the name - thanks for posting.

Ok, Ok.. since you shared and all.. not a selfie - but here's the most recent pic of me online:

I totally should have grabbed one of the knives off the rack..

Closer pic from that night, which was a Masquerade Party for this girl's birthday - just because she thought it would be good fun:

edit: And before I went out I had a pic snapped w/ my new baby nephew, Chaos (born November 11th), who is cllllleeeeeearly impressed with my mask.. hah!

Feels good to know that I'm not the only one

Same here lol whenever I take a selfie I really can't help it- I always bring the camera too close to my face haha, I love being photographed but not always; I like it when the picture is for memory or if its a school picture.

I actually find duck face disgusting to be honest lol it looks gross, I snap/send weird scary pictures to someone on purpose to annoy them lol, I once snapped a 'normal' picture of myself so then someone asked me why do I keep the camera in that position lol.
I admit, I have a Snapchat account but I usually take photos and videos of stuff around me. I often dislike being photographed because when I try to smile, I always somehow grimace or have that faraway look in my eyes. I always have to widen my eyes too or I look half-asleep in photos without realising.
And being reminded of duckfaces reminds me of that "Duck Season" episode of Looney Tunes:

I actually like taking pictures and selfies. However, I won't take them without wearing one of my animal hats. I don't like the way I look at times, and this also makes it hard to take selfies often. That's why I'm not doing it constantly either. I usually do if I'm having a good day, or if I wanted to show off the shirt I'm wearing. Basically, I need a good reason for taken said selfie.

This reminds me of that picture I once took when I looked so tired, I still laugh at it lol xD lol duck face is disgusting to me, why the hell do people think its nice to take a picture with that face lol
The reason I take selfies most of the time is to send it to someone to annoy them xD
I do have nice pictures lol, I usually delete the bad ones xD, I look scary in my selfies lol, people say that I look shy in pictures- I think its because I don't show my teeth when I smile haha
Pictures are just reminders of how awful I look.
I behave like an animal being threatened when people try to forcefully take a picture of me lol
I used to feel I look awful as well but then I realized it's only me and my low confidence level which made me feel that way because I noticed that my father is very good looking and I look exactly like him so how can I be ugly and also some people used to compliment me on my looks so I realized it's only me and my thoughts and confidence level which was causing this
